High Street Closed – Seek Alternate Route

High Street in Upton will be closed for several hours today while National Grid makes repairs to a downed utility pole. According to Police Chief Bradley, the pole was pulled down when an excavator working on a new house got caught up in the guide wire. This incident happened around 8 a.m. on March 8.

Update: High Street is now open – 1:45 p.m.
