Upton Dog License Due Date Is March 31

All dogs, three months or over, must be licensed each year by March 31st of each year.  Please note a $10.00 late charge is assessed for all licenses beginning April 1st.  A current rabies vaccination record and spay/neuter certificate is required prior to issuing a license.
The fee for the license is $10.00 for all neutered male and spayed female dogs and $20.00 for male and female dogs that have not been neutered/spayed.
You can license your dog online only if the Town Clerk’s office has on file the current rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate. You can email these documents to Kelly A. McElreath.
To license a dog at the Town Clerk’s office, please complete the Dog License Information document and bring the rabies certificate, the spay/neuter certificate, and the fee (cash or check).
To license a dog by mail, complete the Dog License Information document or the tear off document attached to the Annual Census Form. Attach the rabies certificate, the spay/neuter certificate, a check payable to the Town of Upton and a self addressed stamped envelope. Please mail these documents to:

Once the license is issued, the dog tag and license will be mailed to the owner.
