The Nipmuc Regional High School student council will be sponsoring the Warriors Walking for Warriors 5K to help support veterans in need on April 30, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nipmuc Regional High School, 90 Pleasant Street in Upton.
Registration to participate in the 5K is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Participants can register online or at the event prior to 9 a.m.
Please arrive by 8:30 the morning of the walk to check-in/register.
After completing the walk, both participants and spectators can engage in numerous activities on the soccer field, including inflatable obstacle courses, a bouncy house, face painting, hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and drinks, cotton candy, and popcorn.
A portion of all proceeds from the event will be donated to veteran services. Please come support veterans as well as Nipmuc’s student council.
