Blackstone Valley Tech’s Dental Assisting students recently gathered to say “thank you” to the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) for its generous donation of a dental examination chair valued by the MDS at roughly $10,000. Donations from private partners like the MDS play an important role in Valley Tech’s ability to train students on modern, industry-relevant equipment. The students are seen here with MDS Director of Sales and Business Development Shannon McCarthy (far left) and MDS President Dr. Edward Swiderski (far right). On behalf of her classmates, Dental Assisting senior Madeleine Dufault of Millbury (center) created and presented a custom thank-you card to the MDS.
