The Upton Police Department held its 27th Annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 11 at Pratt Pond. It was a perfect morning for fishing and the rain held off for most of the event.
It was a great day for family, friends, and the community.
Awards were presented for biggest fish in several categories. Two sportsmanship trophies were awarded; the David Jones and Russell Burke Memorial Award.
The Russell Burke Memorial Award goes to the fisherman who caught the most Bass.
