The Upton Men’s Club is pleased to announce that a total of $6,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 4 Upton residents planning to continue their education.   The scholarship winners are photo (left to right): Teresa Brossi, Andrea Matellian, Brett Nasuti and Karin Plante.

Each recipient received a $1,500 award during the Upton Men’s Club membership meeting held on June 15^th.  The Men’s Club was honored to have the four winners share their aspirations and gratitude during the presentation.  Club members thanked the recipients for their contributions to Upton, and encouraged the students to continue their involvement in community service as they further their education.

This year, as in previous years, a number of outstanding applications were received. “Community service and leadership were the key factors in determining the award recipients.” “The scholarship committee was very pleased to see many Upton students excelling in academics, arts, and athletics while making a difference in our community.” said Bob Drainville, Scholarship Committee Chairman.
