You make Lemonade for Louisiana
On Tuesday, August 23rd, from 3-6, there will be a lemonade stand in front of the United Parish to benefit the Louisiana flood victims. All proceeds will be donated to provide much needed supplies for the Baton Rouge Region that has been devastated by a 1000 year flood.
Jessica Murphy, CE Director at United Parish, would love to see a large turn out of lemonade helpers and asks parents to consider bringing their children by to help with the sale. While there, parents can support the cause by enjoying a nice big glass of lemonade.
“Any and all children from the community are encouraged to help out. Let’s show our support for the people of Louisiana,” said Murphy.
