Please be advised that the Department of Public Works will be removing the island within the cul de sac at the end of Oak Knoll Lane beginning the week of September 26th, 2016 with completion on Friday, September 30th, weather permitting.

Vincent J. Roy, Director of Public Works, said, “The work will begin at 8:00 A.M. and ending around 3:00 P.M. each day.   The plan is to remove the island along with the surrounding curb side berm.  The construction area will be paved with bituminous concrete (asphalt) material and a new Cape Cod berm will installed.  The road will remain open for all vehicles.”

“As always, emergency services and safety are our top priority.  Police, Fire and EMS services are aware of the construction and will respond accordingly, if needed,” said Roy.
