Asta (named after the adorable dog in “The Thin Man” movies) is a happy little guy who just wants to go for leisurely walks, roll around in the grass, and curl up to take a nap on the sofa. And a little chicken wouldn’t hurt either. He loves chicken! 🙂 Once he gets to know you, he’ll wag his tiny little tail like crazy when he sees you walk through the door.
This sweet, gentle little soul recently lost his family through no fault of his own. He’s been through alot, and would be happiest in a calm environment where he can enjoy his golden years. He’s frightened in the car, but is perfectly content to chill out at home. He loves his walks and to explore the neighborhood in his foster home. One of his favorite things is to find a patch of sunshine and lay out in the yard in the sun.
We think he’d like to have another dog buddy to live with, but would be fine as a solo dog too. He’s good with other mellow dogs, and also doesn’t seem phased at all by the cats in his foster home. As an older dog, he’ll do best in a home with older children or adults.
Asta is a 13 year-old mini poodle. We’re not sure how well he can hear, but it doesn’t seem to bother him one bit. He’s such a good-natured boy. Asta is currently in a temporary foster home until he finds a forever home. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about this little cutie.
