Grace Maneri has decided to throw her hat in the ring as a write-in candidate for the Mendon Upton Regional School District committee open seat.
“She has my full support and unqualified endorsement” said current school committee chair, Kathleen Drennan. “She’ll be a terrific addition to the team”
The soon to be vacant seat is the presently occupied by Heather Applegate who also fully endorses Grace. Heather wrote in an email “Grace interviewed for the position after the sudden, unexpected resignation of Michelle Goodwin. Grace has a strong professional and educational background and holds an undergraduate degree in english and a masters of education in organizational management. Grace possess the commitment to education, leadership skills and professional attitude that is needed to help support the positive momentum Dr. M has developed. She has my full endorsement and gratitude for volunteering to serve.”
I will be posting a letter from Grace which expresses her intentions.
If you would like to cast your vote for Grace you must write her name in. The candidate with the most write-ins will be offered the position. The name must be spelled correctly, so be sure to write down the name of the person with the correct spelling before you head to the polls on Tuesday April 30, 2013.
