Milford firemen responded to a two alarm fire which left a home destroyed on Water Street in Milford. Fire officials say the fire began around 6 a.m. this morning on the first floor and quickly spread to the roof. The fire has left two families homeless. Two neighboring homes were evacuated during the fire as there was a fear the fire may spread. There is visible damage to the vinyl side of a neighboring home. The Red Cross was on scene to assist the families.
