It was a slow start on Halloween this year, which had one mom in the neighborhood thinking, “Have the kids all grown, will this be the first year we don’t run out of candy.”
Between 5:30 and 6:45 p.m. the crowds were smaller than usually for the very busy trick-or-treat spot. It was a trick for the homeowners. By 7 p.m. the crowds started pouring in and the annual Halloween rush was on. Homeowners in the neighborhood estimate they saw over 400 treat-or-treaters. Many ran out of candy much earlier than in previous years.
The parents were pleased to see much less traffic in the neighborhood this year. Thank you for parking at BVT.
Here are some trick-or-treaters who showed up at my door and some photos from the Fire/EMS Halloween Parade. Click to enlarge.
