Upton Police Receive Patriotic Employer Award

On Friday November 22nd Chief Michael J. Bradley, Jr. and the Upton Police Department were recognized by the Department of Defense as a Patriotic Employer. The award recognizes the Upton Police Department for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force. Chief Bradley was nominated for the award by Upton Police Communications Officer Kyle A. Bishop, who currently serves in the United States Coast Guard. According to Chief Bradley, “The Town of Upton has a proud history of supporting our service men and women. Supporting Kyle by adjusting his training and employment schedule while he serves in United States Coast Guard is our way of saying thank you for the important work that he does”.
