The Upton Fire Department has announced Open Burning Permits for 2014 are available from January 15 through May 1. Residents may apply in person at the Upton Fire EMS Headquarters Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The seasonal cost of a burning permit is $10.
