Susan Swanson and Kathy Gorman of the Mendon Twin Drive-In announced they have sold the business to the Andelman Brothers.
In a letter posted on the Mendon Twin Drive-In website Swanson and Gorman wrote, “This has not been an easy decision for us but we feel strongly we have found the perfect buyers who intend on keeping the spirit and the intention of the drive-in alive.”
Michael, Dan, and David Andelman are the men behind Phantom Gourmet. According to Swanson and Gorman the Andelman brothers are “interested in the preserving the drive-in as well as expanding new horizons in keeping with a joyous outdoor family envirnment.”
For the 2014 season Swanson and Gorman will stay on to assist the with the transition. “We look forward to having this season to say our good byes and introducing you all to our new friends the Andelmans,” wrote Swanson and Gorman.
The Mendon Twin Drive-In has been managed by Swanson and Gorman for the last 28 years.
