Mendon to hold Horribles Parade

On July 3, Mendon will hold it’s annual Fourth of July Eve Horribles Parade. The Parade has been a tradition in Mendon that goes back over half a century. Children of all ages dress in costume and walk down Maple Street to the Mendon Town Hall where prizes, donated by local businesses, are awarded. The children will be treated to hot dogs and drinks. Nipmuc HS Football comes home to Nipmuc Field!

Front field at Nipmuc HS It's exciting news for Nipmuc HS Football players and fans.  Thanks to the newly formed Nipmuc Gridiron Club, plans are underway for home games to be played at Nipmuc High School's front field. Is it selfish to want a good school system for our community? Maybe wanting one makes me a bad person. I think you would be hard pressed not to find a selfish parent who only wants the best for their kid(s). I want my kids to have the same great education and opportunities that I had. Upton and Mendon added to local towns reporting suspicious person approaching children

Upton and Mendon Police Departments reported Saturday May 2 incidents involving a middle aged white man in a grey sedan suspiciously approaching young children. Upton Police said, "An 11 year old girl was approached and asked for directions by a grey sedan being operated by a middle aged white male. The incident took place on Elm Street, however reports of a suspicious vehicle were also received on Florence Circle and River Bend Road that had a similar description.
