Julie Uthoff of Pawfect Life Rescue visited Clough Elementary School through their Kindess, Caring & Respect program.

Pawfect Life Rescue is a shelterless dog rescue located in Uxbridge.  Their mission is to rescue stray dogs and place them in responsible loving homes. Pawfect Life Rescue also strives to educate the community on the importance of proper pet care and defines success as the ability to effectively enhance the quality of the lives they touch!

Earlier this month Uthoff met with the second graders at Clough Elementary School to teach them the importance of  kindness, caring, and respect when it comes to pets. Uthoff chatted with the children about how to properly take care of your pup, why pups end up in shelters, and the importance of making sure rescue pups end up in loving homes.

The children connected with Uthoff through the photos she brought of pups which had arrived at her shelter and their stories of how they were adopted by loving families.

Clough second graders enjoyed the visit and had many questions and stories of their own for Uthoff.
