It is hard to believe it was 10 years ago when I walked into a completely unfinished basement at 62 Main Street and thought it would be the perfect place for a Health and Wellness Center! From that moment, the magic started. The buildout renovation turned out better than I could have imagined, The Body Fixx opened for business and things have just gotten better from there. Several incredible massage therapists joined The Body Fixx team, Dr. Karl Engelhardt of Upton Chiropractic (affectionately known as Dr. Karl) opened his practice alongside of us and now Sabrina Sanchez of Upton Family Acupuncture
is part of our family.
Upton has been an amazing, welcoming and supportive community to work in and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. Not only have several of The Body Fixx massage therapists been with us for all 10 years, so have many of our clients and they generously continue to trust and refer friends and family to us. This is a community oriented facility with 5 of the 6 massage therapists living locally in Upton and another from neighboring Milford. We are a true community Health and Wellness center and it always makes me smile when clients come into the waiting room and know each other. It is the essence of having a small town feel and community environment – that very quality that people like so much about Upton.
The staff at The Body Fixx is exceptional. We are blessed with cream of the crop therapists, not only because of their superior technical skills and experience, but also for the true love and passion they have for their work and for their kind, generous, compassionate souls. There has not been one single day since the doors opened that I have woken up in the morning and not wanted to go to work. I don’t know how much luckier one can get! The staff and our wonderful clients make it a joy to be here every day.
