MU Superintendent challenged to Chill Out Cancer Challenge

Nipmuc Juniors Shane Dougherty and Petey Schiloski teamed up to raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer as part of their DECA project through the Chill-Out Cancer Challenge.

They are asking members of the community to take the challenge, challenge friends, and if they can to donate towards the cause.

Mendon Upton Superintendent Dr. Joseph P. Maruszczak was challenged by Petey, Shane, and Nipmuc Principal John Clements and today he took the plunge. “Awesome job guys, with this DECA project. I love it,” said Maruszczak in the video.

Before taking the plunge he jogged barefoot then shouted ,”Arggh, this is too cold, Ahhh,” and fell into the snow.

Shane and Petey said the challenge is a great way to get people talking about and breaking the silence of ovarian cancer.

Go ahead and take the challenge… or you could just donate http://www.gofundme.com/kvjs5g.

Below is the video Dr. Maruszczak posted. He called out Miscoe’s Mrs. Meyer and Mr. Amitrano to take the challenge.
