Winter Storm Warning in Effect Until 1 a.m. Tuesday

The winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Heavy snow is expected over the next several hours tapering off to light snow through the evening. Snow should stop falling around midnight.

Hazardous travel is expected with snow covered roads and poor visibility. Winds gusts up to 40 mph will blow snow and drifting snow is expected.

Upton roads are snow covered, including Route 140.  Plows are out.
