On November 7th from 10am to 2pm (rain date 11/8/15) at Veteran’s field in Mendon the Friends of the Taft Public Library are holding Mendon’s first ever Cow Chip Bingo. The event will include 3 cash prizes to the deed holders where the cow drops her first 3 chips. First place is $1000 sponsored by: M. Del Vecchio Construction, second place is $500 sponsored by Gliese 623B, and third place is $250 sponsored by Deluxe House of Pizza.
Deeds for Bingo Squares are on sale now for $10 each. They can be purchased Tuesdays – Saturdays at The Taft Public Library, 18 Main Street in Mendon.
If you can’t get to the Library to purchase bingo squares “Chip the Cow” can deliver your squares to your home on Sunday November 1. Simply email the Friends at friendsoftaftlibrary@gmail.com, and include the following information: name, phone number, address where to deliver, number of deeds (bingo squares). Please have cash or check made payable to “Friends of Taft Library”, for your tax-deductible donation, ready upon delivery.
Deeds to Bingo Squares will also be on sale the day of the event, but get there early to pick your “lucky” square
On the day of the event bring a picnic blanket or chairs and hang out for the day. There will be lots of exciting things to do at the event; Music by DJ Jerry, Face Painting, Inflatable Obstacle course, Petting Zoo, A Drum Along with Music Together, Arts and Crafts with Just-a-Wee Daycare, Food Vendors, pictures with “Chip the Cow”, and much, much more.
You do not need to be present to win the cash prizes; HOWEVER if you attend the event as a Deed Owner, you will receive an entry for every Deed you purchase, into all of our “FREE SPACE” raffles that we will be having through out the day.
So be sure to get the Deeds for your Bingo Squares early and be apart of this exciting community event to help raise money for the Taft Public Library’s Relocation Fund.
