Storm Update – Little Snow – Big Winds

Recent weather models have shifted the snow a little bit farther north. However, the heavy snow should remain to the south. The Upton area will see anywhere from one to three inches of snow. Winds will be the bigger story with gusts up to 40 mph Saturday evening. Stay tuned for more updates on the storm. With the storm one day away, the storm track can change.

Saturday, January 23rd: Mostly sunny AM, then increasing clouds PM with a chance of snow after 1 PM. 30 % chance of snow.  Snowfall amounts less than 1 “. High temperature around 28F.Northeast winds at 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph possible. 

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy with periods of light snow, mainly before 4 AM. 60 % chance of snow. 1-3 inches of snow possible. Low temperature around 19F. Winds from the northwest changing to northeast at 20-30 mph. Wind gusts up to 40 mph possible. 

Sunday, January 24th:  Partly cloudy AM, then gradually clearing out during the afternoon. High temperature around 30F. North-northeast winds at  15-25 mph. Wind gusts up to 30 mph possible.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear afterward. Low temperature around 23F. Northwest winds at 10-15 mph.
