In a ceremony on Wednesday, February 3, seven Nipmuc senior student-athletes who have committed to play their respective sport at the collegiate level were recognized. The athletes were joined by their parents, coaches, friends, administration, and Athletic Director Christopher Schmidt who reminded them of the dedication it takes to balance academics and athletics. “It’s a pleasure to be here and acknowledge our student-athletes. The commitment they have made should be recognized,” Schmidt said.
