Upton Police reported multiple vehicles off the road throughout today’s storm. Police also report multiple trees down which have contributed to the numerous power outages.
Police warn, “If you see wires down, DO NOT approach them. If there are wires on your vehicle, DO NOT exit your vehicle. Call 9-1-1.”
National Grid is aware of the outages and are unable to provide an estimated time to have the power restored.
According to police, the DPW is working diligently to remove the downed trees, but it will take some time to get to them all.
“If you must travel, use extreme caution. Roads are improving as the snow stops, but many remain slick,” said Upton Police.
