Section of Mendon Street To Be Closed This Morning

The Upton Police announced a section of Mendon Street will be closed today due to police operations.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. Mendon Street will be closed between Grove Street and Chestnut. A detour is in place and police will advise when the road is reopened.

I drove through this on the way to work this morning. There were about 8 Mass state police cars there at 8:45. Anyone know what’s going on ? Looks like some drill to me.

  My guess is this is related to the skeletal remains found there in December. The case is still under investigation by the DAs office.
