With the carnival in town, baseball games, and the playground there is going to be a lot of activity near the Upton VFW.
Upton Police want everyone to have a fun and safe weekend and are reminding residents to “use extreme caution around the VFW and pay extra attention to the crosswalks around the center. It may be difficult to see little ones emerging from in between parked cars.”
Police said, “If you are traveling to activities around the VFW, please avoid creating a hazardous situation by obeying all parking laws.”
“Vehicles found to be obstructing public travel (including sidewalks), may be fined and are subject to being towed if necessary,” officials said.
