“Senior Walk:” A new tradition for graduating seniors!

Nipmuc Regional High School students went back to their old stomping grounds on Thursday, June 1st.

The Class of 2016 started a new tradition for the district this year, a “senior walk”.

Donning their caps and gowns, seniors from Mendon and Upton walked the halls of Clough, Memorial, and Miscoe Hill schools to inspire and motivate elementary and middle school students to do well in school.

Everyone loved this new tradition, including the teachers!

Students made signs for the graduating class and cheered them on as they walked the halls.

  1. My class was so excited to celebrate their accomplishment…the seniors were like celebrity status in the eyes if my 3rd graders. Loved every minute of it…but they walked by too fast! Lol
