The owners of Red Rock Grill & Bar are making plans to expand their outdoor eating area which would include a 20′ by 42′ patio with an outdoor pizza oven.
Owner and Chef Russ Berger presented his request for the additional eating and drinking space at a public hearing before the Upton Board of Selectmen on June 7. The planned patio needs approval from both the Town and State for liquor sales.
“We are trying to improve the restaurant,” said Berger. “There will be some couch seating and high tops so we can serve pizza and alcohol at the same time.”
Resident Debbie Amerolli was curious about parking, “Is this going to bring more patrons… where are they going to park?”
“We don’t encourage people to park across the street but there is parking there for them,” Berger said.
“To be honest this is only going to be used a couple of nights a week…We can’t really do much more business than we are because we are limited by the parking. It’s intended for our slower nights,” he said.
“Our concept right now is Tuesday nights and Sunday. I’ll be the one making the pizza and I can’t spread myself any more thinner than I am now,” he said.
Selectmen Chairmen Jim Brochu was supportive of the request. “Every time I drive by the Red Rock Grill & Bar, I’m surprised you can fit that many cars,” he said. “It’s outstanding to see, truly to see another thriving business in town. What you and Sherry have done, you should commended.”
The request to amend Red Rock Grill & Bar to include the additional 20 by 42 foot eating and drinking area was unanimously approved by the Board.

I’ve been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for
me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot
more useful than ever before.
