Upton Town Library presents the Little Red Wagon touring theater group for a performance of “Varmints, Villains, & Valor : An Adventure in American Folk Tales”
Open to all members of the Upton Community, the first event in the 2016 Summer Reading Program will be held at the Nipmuc High School courtyard from 6pm to 7pm. Arrive early for a prime seat and to purchase pizza and refreshments sold by the Friends of the Upton Town Library.
In case of poor weather, the event will be moved inside to the auditorium.
Little Red Wagon shows are written and performed by students from the University of New Hampshire drama department. This year’s show is “A thrilling adventure through the history and tall tales of the past of America. America has a thrilling and varied history which has created some pretty interesting stories along the way. From Covered Wagons to Blue Buffalos, ‘Coon Skinned caps to Feathered Headbands. These stories not only make up our history, but bring fantastical heroes to life.”
