Easy Walks in Upton Presentation

library_programWish you knew where to go when you only have time for shorter day trips this fall? Come visit the Upton Town Hall Wednesday evening, 6:30 on September 14 to see slides of the many easy walks available right in our area that are included in the just released book “Easy Walks in Massachusetts, 2nd edition.” Learn about over 50 very local trails in the Blackstone Valley in 16 area towns including Upton.

You’ll discover walks alongside rivers and ponds, short climbs to views of the Blackstone Valley or Boston, and treks through woodland filled with huge boulders. Several railtrails, completed or in process are included. These are all great locations that are close by, a source for someplace new when you want to get outside either for some solitude, or with your family. It’s all here, right in our backyard. Get out while it’s still nice and explore.
