Neigh-bear-hoods are Hosting Teddy Bear Hunts

teddy bearWhy are Teddy Bears showing up on window sills?

Taking a page from Michael Rosen’s 1989 children’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, communities across the globe are placing teddy bears and other stuffed animals in their homes’ windows to create a scavenger hunt-esque activity for kids who are stuck at home as a sign of unity amid the coronavirus crisis.

Local parents are hoping the community will place bears in their windows to make their walks or afternoon drives more adventurous.

If you have any stuffed animals stranded in the closet it’s time to take them out and put them in your window. There might be a little one hunting for bears in your neigh-bear-hood.
