When COVID-19 shut down local businesses and left many jobless, the Milford Area Humanitarian Coalition and Hockomock YMCA sprung into action and began feeding those in need. As we find ourselves moving towards a new sense of normalcy, those amazing organizations will start planning their annual Milford Summer Lunch Program which feeds local students throughout the summer months. But due to our recent crisis, and their generous head-start on serving the public, more funds are needed to get through the summer.
On Sunday, May 24, 2020, you can help this effort by joining local professional chefs and home-kitchen culinary artists as they share their favorite quick dishes with you to draw awareness to, and raise money for, the Milford Area Summer Lunch Program. We’ll have some laughs, share some recipes, and help those who have been effortlessly giving their time to help us over the past few months.
