Upton’s Memorial Day ceremonies usually involve a parade, flag ceremonies, and other formal public recognitions to honor the brave men and women of the American Armed Forces who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. This includes those in the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, National Guard, Air Force, and the Coast Guard.
This year due to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, residents are being told not to attend the ceremonies in person, but instead are encouraged to join the ceremonies through live-streaming.
Residents can attend the ceremonies virtually by following the steps below:
