Upton Fire Department Receives $173,334 in Federal Grant

Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) was notified by the Federal Congressional Delegation that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded the Upton Fire Department an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) totaling $173,334. Open Burning Permits 2015

The Upton Fire Department has announced Open Burning Permits for 2015 are available from January 15 through May 1. Residents may apply in person at the Upton Fire EMS Headquarters seven days a week from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The seasonal cost of a burning permit is $10. Upton FD use Jaws of Life to rescue teen from car after Quaker Street accident

Northbridge Police Department Press Release  On Tuesday December 9, 2014 the Northbridge Police Department received multiple calls reporting a 2 car accident on Quaker Street by the Upton town line. Upton Fire responds to gas leak

  file photo The Upton Fire Department responded to a gas leak in the area of 10 North Main Street today. The leak was reported by a passerby who smelled gas in the area. Upton Fire/EMS Chief Goodale said the department responded by sending an engine and the Tower to investigate.
